The upcoming
Teen Wolf movie gets its first teaser at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Paramount+ is bringing back Tyler Posey’s Scott McCall and his Wolf Pack for another adventure. This is four years after the show’s original MTV run came to an end after 100 episodes spread throughout six seasons.,Announced in 2021, the revival, which is officially titled
Teen Wolf: The Movie, will also see Jeff Davis returning as a screenwriter and executive producer of the upcoming project after developing the original MTV series. It will feature a time jump, picking up with Scott working in Los Angeles and trying to live a new life outside of Beacon Hills. However, he is roped back in for a new mission. Aside from Posey, the movie will bring back a string of familiar faces as well.
Teen Wolf: The Movie has a cast that includes fan-favorites Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore, Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate, Linden Ashby as Sheriff Noah Stilinski, Dylan Sprayberry as Liam Dunbar, and Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale.,Related: How We Think Allison Returns In The Teen Wolf Movie,With filming having wrapped earlier this year, Paramount+ debuts the first look at
Teen Wolf: The Movie at SDCC 2022. The minute-and-a-half-long clip features many beloved characters in dire situations, such as one shot of Derek crawling on the ground while injured. However, the
Teen
Wolf trailer keeps its biggest moment for the end. Watch it below:,Click here to watch the video on YouTube.,Since Reed’s involvement was previously confirmed, seeing Allison back in
Teen Wolf: The Movie shouldn’t be surprising. Instead, what was initially curious was how she was going to be incorporated into the project considering the character’s death. For context, Allison was killed in
Teen Wolf season 3 after getting a fatal stab wound from an Oni sword. The character’s demise, however, wasn’t due to any behind-the-scenes conflict; instead, it was Reed’s decision to exit
Teen Wolf as she wanted to pursue other things in her career. Since she maintained a great relationship with everyone else involved in
Teen Wolf even after her departure, it was relatively easy to convince her to return for the Paramount+ movie. Now, her comeback is going to be one of the narrative’s central mysteries, if not its biggest plot point.,The
Teen Wolf movie trailer doesn’t reveal much about how Allison is able to return. However, based on the official footage, it seems like everyone in Beacon Hills is surprised by this. The ominous voice-over suggests that she may not be the Wolf Pack ally that she was before. Instead of a straight-up resurrection, Allison may be the villain of
Teen Wolf‘s story. This would be an interesting turn of events for Scott and his pack, especially if she indeed wants retribution or is disillusioned enough to go after her friends for some sort of revenge. It will be curious to see if this core mystery will pave the way for the upcoming spin-off,
Wolf Pack, or if Allison’s story will only have ties to the main revival project.,More: Dylan O’Brien’s Teen Wolf Movie Update Is Worrying,Source: Paramount+
