The government has impounded P124 million worth of agricultural products consigned to Daniry Consumer Goods Trading and Jeroce Consumer Goods Trading from China, an official said on 25 June.,An examination of both shipments was done after receiving information about possibly misdeclared goods.,Both consignees will face appropriate legal sanctions and cases, Bureau of Customs (BOC) Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence Raniel Ramiro said.,Daniry Consumer Goods Trading had P75-million worth of agricultural products in its containers, while Jeroce Consumer Goods Trading had P49 million. Both shipments were found to contain frozen poultry products, which were not in the original declaration.,Daniry Consumer Goods Trading declared a shipment for hotpot balls, while Jeroce Consumer Goods Trading said its shipment contained steamed buns.
