Outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte is willing to serve as legal consultant of his longtime aide and trusted confidante Senator Christopher “Bong” Go after his term ends on 30 June.,Go told reporters on Sunday, 19 June that the 77-year-old Chief Executive had agreed to be his advisor, but the latter may also consider other possible job offers.,“I asked him, ‘Mr. President, may I tap you to be my consultant?’ He accepted the offer as a legal consultant,” the lawmaker said in a chance interview, recalling his conversation with Duterte.,“It is just one of his options. I cannot say if it is final because there may be other offers for him to serve in a high position,” Go added.,Go said the President has yet to decide on the offers he has received.,“Knowing the president, he is looking for something to do.
