A newly released promotional video for
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
 reveals footage from Wanda Maximoff’s fight with the Illuminati. Elizabeth Olsen reprised her role as Wanda/Scarlet Witch in the
Doctor Strange sequel, though this time in a villainous role. The film also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Rachel McAdams alongside Olden.,In
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda is prepared to do anything to reunite with her children, Billy (Jullian Hilliard) and Tommy (Jett Klyne), even if she must steal the powers of the universe-hopping hero America Chavez (Gomez). Despite escaping to another universe, Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) and America are chased by Wanda when she uses the power of the Darkhold to dream walk the body of her Variant in that universe. When Wanda attempts to capture the pair, she is brought into conflict with this universe’s team of powerful heroes, the Illuminati. The team consists of Anson Mount’s Black Bolt, Hayley Atwell’s Captain Carter, John Krasinski’s Reed Richards, Lashana Lynch’s Maria Rambeau/Captain Marvel, Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Karl Mordo, and Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier. Charlize Theron also shared a behind-the-scenes look at her brief appearance as the sorceress Clea on her social media accounts, giving fans a clear look at the costume she wears in the film’s post-credits scene. And Gomez has also been busy keeping her followers updated on social media with behind-the-scenes photos and videos.,Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness allowed Marvel Studios to briefly tease fans with a number of memorable appearances without worries of creating too many continuity issues.
